Take a Sneak Peek at The Homecoming

Along with the final cover artwork being released, Revell has posted the first few chapters of The Homecoming to the online bookstores like Amazon, B&N and Click here if you'd like a sneak peek (you'll only have to wait 2 more months to see what happens next.

Final Cover, Front & Back, for The Homecoming

We're only 2 months away from the release of my 2nd novel, The Homecoming. The final artwork is completed for the front and back cover. I really like what they did with it. I've posted them here, but it's a little hard to read the text. Click once and it should enlarge in a new window. Click a second time, and it will get even bigger.

Heading to a Sam's or Wal-Mart near you

Had a nice chat with the Marketing Manager of Revell this week, discussing book cover plans for my 3rd novel, The Deepest Waters. She let me know some exciting news. Both Sam's and Wal-Mart plan to carry my 2nd novel, The Homecoming, on their shelves soon. It releases on June 1st. As you know, they only carry a very limited selection of books, but have a huge volume of customers, so it's quite an opportunity. Click here to check it out on Amazon (scroll down a bit to read the intro paragraph).

Also, the after-Christmas sales for my first novel, The Unfinished Gift, have been very encouraging (sold 400 units on Kindle in Jan-Feb). Most of you know the story is set at Christmastime, and we expected sales to drop dramatically, as most Christmas books due after the holiday. So they've decided to release the paperback version at the same time The Homecoming releases on June 1st.

All in all, some very encouraging news. I'm grateful to God and all of you.

PS The audiobook version of The Unfinished Gift comes out in less than a month.

Listen to a Sample of the Audio Book

I received an email that the Audio Book edition of The Unfinished Gift is finished, although still only available as a pre-order until April 13th. But you can click on this link at Oasis Audio and here a sample of the first chapter being read (click here). There are 6 CD's. It retails for $25.99, but I've seen it listed on Amazon for $17.15 and for $17.99.

The actor reading the book is named Robert Mueller. Mueller is a well-known stage and television actor in Chicago. His radio and voiceover credits include the Left Behind series, The Shack and Randy Alcorn's book, Deception.
